The Other Guys

                For this blog entry, I’m going to be talking about the movie The Other Guys starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. This is a comedy movie which also has action parts.

                The movie is about Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg) that are two men who work for the NYPD but are the least respected ones and do the worst job. Then there are the two popular workers that everyone respect and admire that are P.K. Highsmith (Samuel L. Jackson) and Christopher Danson (Dwayne Johnson). The story starts to kick in when P.K. Highsmith and Christopher Danson are in a chase and do the ridicoulus thing you can ever imagine. They jump off a building and commit suicide. When they are dead, Terry Hoitz realizes that this could be an opportunity for him and his partner Allen Gamble to be the popular ones in the NYPD. But they also have some challengers for that spot. Martin (Rob Riggle) and Fosse (Damon Wayans Jr.) are other men that work for the NYPD and want that spot of being the popular ones. The rest of the movie starts to get ridiculously funny while Allen Gamble and Terry Hoitz try to do cop work and try to be the popular ones in the NYPD.

                I thought this movie was very funny and I thought the action scenes were well made. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes comedy and action and whoever likes the actor Will Ferrell who is a good actor for comedy movies.
